is a first within the GAA. It’s a web-based approach to funding which gives everyone, at any level and in any place, the chance to make – and mark – their contribution to Garvaghey.
At www.clubtyrone.com we have on-line pictures of Garvaghey; Tyrone GAA legends of the past and present; and YOU, the people who will benefit from the project and who will help make it happen. The pictures are made up of 100,000 pixels, each of which is on sale from as little as £5. Every time a pixel is sold, the buyer dedicates it to someone or something: you could put your own name on the pixels; or your Club’s name; or you could buy them as a present for someone and dedicate them accordingly. Even if you are afraid of technology but want to make a contribution, please contact any of the committee members listed in the contact us section and we will arrange it for you.

What’s important and what’s different is that the pixel dedication remains acknowledged for all time, both on the web and in the completed Garvaghey building. This is about leaving footprints in the sands of Tyrone GAA time. And that’s real legacy business.
Just log onto www.clubtyrone.com and take it from there. The completed pixels will provide an everlasting acknowledgement of people who helped make Garvaghey possible. They give every Tyrone gael their chance to say about Garvaghey: “I was there … I did my bit”.
Minimum £5 per pixel
The £5 pixel may seem small. But this is about achieving critical mass, about Tyrone supporters from home and abroad coming together to jointly contribute to something special. We do it as Tyrone supporters at Tyrone games. Now we can do it for Garvaghey. When the pixel is “rolled over” on the computer screen the buyer can leave a small, personalised message.
The £10 pixel will give you the opportunity to leave a larger mark that again will always be visible, both on-line and at Garvaghe.
An investment of £20 allows you to be creative, giving you scope to post a picture … of your family; a loved one; a happy event; or just of yourself.

The choice is limitless. But, crucially, it’s yours! And it’s marked for all time.
Ultimately what you see on screen will be transferred to a magnificent piece of public art, placed in a prominent position close to the main building. Those plinths will be made up of the thousands of pixels created by you and Tyrone GAA people like you. One day your grandchildren, and in turn their grandchildren, will be able to see and appreciate how you contributed to creating a home for the GAA in Tyrone. That will stimulate them in turn to do their bit. And that’s real legacy.
